Thank you for inquiring about our office assisting you with a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Chapter 7 Bankruptcy provides the most protection for those who qualify. Sometimes referred to as "straight" Bankruptcy, Chapter 7 Bankruptcy enables you to "wipe out" all of your consumer debt. When you arrive at our office, you will meet with an attorney, contrary to what happens at most bankruptcy offices. Your case will be prepared by an attorney, not a paralegal. Also, you will not be asked to wait hours to see the attorney while you fill out forms as in other offices.
There are different payment options for attorney fees for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Additionally, a court filing fee will be required. Our fees are based on a “sliding scale” fee structure which will be discussed during your free initial consultation. You can keep fees down by being well organized and well prepared. Payment Plans are available; please contact our office at 1.800.422.3328 for details. If you own, or are purchasing real property that you reside in, it is necessary that a Declaration of Homestead be filed with the County Recorder before the filing of your case with the United States Bankruptcy Court. There is an additional charge for my office to prepare and file this document with the County Recorder. If you already have a Declaration of Homestead filed with the County Recorder, please provide a copy of it at the time of your appointment with my office. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call. If we may be of service in this matter a personal appointment will be arranged immediately upon your request. |
